Dundalk & Navan

We have three runners tonight in Dundalk and three tomorrow in Navan.

Jeremy’s Delight has her first run for us tonight in a 1m4f maiden. Her price suggests her chance here and she will be far more competitive in handicaps.

Ciao won her maiden well over C&D on her last outing and was put up 7lbs for that. She’s an improving filly and the blinkers worked well on her the last day. She’s drawn well in stall 2 and will hopefully go close again tonight.

Nisior Donn won in a dead heat over 7f here last week. She’ll appreciate the step up to 1m tonight. She missed the break badly last week and we’ve had her through the stalls this week and she’s bounced out well. We appear to have got the weaker division of the two tonight and hopefully she can follow up.

In Navan we have two runners in the 2m4f maiden hurdle. Cray is having his first outing for us and his first run over hurdles since coming from James Bethell. He’s a nice type but his future lies in handicaps. Darver Star ran well in a decent bumper at Down Royal over Christmas, he’ll appreciate the step up in trip but he’s another that will struggle in this maiden company.

Tritonix has her debut run in the bumper. She’s a lovely sort and will need this experience. She’s capable of running well but whatever she does, she’ll improve for.
